The Artwork

We hope you enjoy the artwork on our website as much as we do. Our interest in talented people, is reflected in our support for the work of East Anglian artist, Roger Hardy who has created all of the beautiful sculptures you see in our photographs.  Libby Purves, writer and broadcaster says of his sculptures:

“With his keen eye for shapes and for absurdities, Roger Hardy makes mundane objects graceful, and ordinary things remarkable.”

A graphic artist by training (creating the current Wall’s ice cream logo and the Formula One motor racing logo), Roger also paints and has a wonderful ability to elicit abstract shapes in the landscapes that help create rhythm and tension in his work and in his own words it is “this dialogue between shape, texture and representational elements” that interests him. He takes a bold approach to colour, particularly after being mentored by Sir Terry Frost.

Roger has shown with, amongst others: Thompson’s Gallery Marylebone, Foss Fine Art Affordable Art Fair London, Peter Pears Gallery, World Land Trust, Strand Gallery Aldeburgh, Market House Gallery Cornwall and Truro Gallery.
