Recruitment Update – Middle East – June 2015
Welcome to our latest recruitment update about the legal market in the Middle East. In contrast to a healthy pipeline of legal jobs for lawyers in the UK, the demand for lawyers in the Middle East is relatively steady and, as some commentators have suggested, “subdued”. Much of the explanation for this, perhaps not surprisingly, stems from the dramatic fall in oil prices. That said, whilst law firms continue to tread carefully, a number of opportunities do exist for lawyers, particularly those with regional experience and/or who speak fluent Arabic. Here are just some of the legal vacancies we are seeing in the Middle East:
Partner, Project Finance, UAE
Senior/Associate 4-7 PQE Real Estate, UAE
Senior/Associate 4-6 PQE Debt Capital Markets, UAE
Senior/Associate Corporate, KSA
Senior/Associate 4-6PQE Corporate/Finance, UAE
Associate 3-5PQE Dispute Resolution, UAE
Associate 0-3PQE Banking/Finance, UAE
