Welcome to the latest update from Oyster about recruitment activity in the Human Resources profession.
First and foremost and despite Brexit, there has been a notable uptick in the demand for HR professionals among our clients in both the Legal and Financial Services sectors.
Notable, in particular, has been the demand for HR specialists in HRIS, Payroll, L&D and Recruitment, together with professional interims, both Generalist and Specialist.
Another interesting feature has been the uptick in candidates looking to make a move, one particular aspect which has been expressions of interest among more experienced HR professionals, especially Senior HR Managers looking to progress their careers by moving in to Head of HR roles. Not an easy move to make at the best of times, more so at a time when clients seem to be perpetually restructuring and realigning the business. Patience has its virtues and staying close to the market and your recruitment consultant of choice will be important.
